Dual

Dual film breaks the fourth wall and invites the viewer to witness the jazzman Vinícius Chagas facing himself into a sharp free jazz duel. Notes break the silence and echo through the old abandoned hangar making us realize that a duel can be much more than just trying to defeat your opponent, is about beating yourself. Dual is a revisit to the 1940s Noir Film genre and reconstructs in black and white the dark visual style and the characteristic elements of suspense from that time. Our film did not count on any support or sponsorship and was made possible by the dedication and passion of the team for the art of cinema.
